About the Team
As a member of our diverse and skilled North America team, you will have the opportunity to communicate and demonstrate the power of Workday's Planning and Consolidation applications to prospects and customers alike. It is this team's job to bring the value of Workday solutions to life and showcase how the planning and consolidation functions can be transformed in the office of the CFO and CHRO. This team sits at the intersection of our Sales, Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management teams, providing exposure to various areas of the business.
About the Role
Workday is looking for a Solution Consultant with Planning and Consolidation expertise in one or more of these strategic industries - Healthcare, Higher Education, and/or Public Sector to join our Planning team.
Our team demonstrates next generation SaaS applications. You will use your in-depth product and industry knowledge to provide FP&A, Workforce Planning, xP&A, and consolidation expertise to the sales team and customers. You will lead discovery workshops with prospective customers to uncover business requirements and value. You will provide authoritative overview and deep-dive product demonstrations and position the unique value of Workday Adaptive Planning. You will conduct executive-level presentations and provide trusted advice and mentorship as a planning subject matter expert. We also assist in responding to RFP’s, participate in Workday events such as webinars, customer forums, and industry conferences and trade-shows.
Ability to travel 50% for this role.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
Sr Solution consultant- Planning and Consolidation:
5+ years working with enterprise applications
5+ years presales, implementation and or consulting
5+ years presenting to C-Level executives
4+ years of Financial Planning and Reporting industry experience in Healthcare, Higher Education, and/or Public Sector
Principal Solution consultant- Planning and Consolidation:
7+ years working with enterprise applications
7+ years presales, implementation and or consulting
7+ years presenting to C-Level executives
5+ years of Financial Planning and Reporting industry experience in Healthcare, Higher Education, and/or Public Sector
Other Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, and/or related field or equivalent work experience
Ability to prioritize multiple projects individually as well as working cross-functionally
Outstanding and dynamic presentation skills
Value based selling experience
Outstanding professional discovery, presentation, communication, and influencing skills to C-Level Executives, talking to and selling to the office of the CFO specifically
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
