Requirements:
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in the Healthcare field.
- Very strong experience in requirements elicitation and requirements management.
- Experience working with SMART analysis.
- Experience working with Jira.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders from different business areas both technical and business.
- Experience working in an environment where process is changing.
- Experience manage multiple large initiatives at once.
- Familiar with assumptions, dependencies, defining what is in and out of scope.
- The ability to ask the right level of questions to get to the right level of detail in order for those requirements to be clear for a technical resource to design and build a solution to satisfy the business need.
Job Description
- Elicit, analyze, document and manage requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information, and information systems for larger and/or more complex enterprise problems.
- Analyze business needs for strategic initiatives that impact multiple business domains and applications; collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define, develop and communicate scope and requirements.
- Ensure creation of and adherence to requirements approach and management plan in alignment with an overall project plan.
- Partner with stakeholders on requirements prioritization, solution approach and alternatives, and manage requirements changes to ensure developed solution conforms to business needs.
- Proactively identify areas of potential business risk, on projects both within and outside of control, make recommendations related to mitigation and escalate as necessary.
- Use and promote industry standard analysis techniques, such as data flow modeling, use-case analysis, workflow analysis, business process mapping, functional decomposition analysis and/or financial ROI modeling for larger and more complex initiatives.
- Independently create effective presentations for review by varied levels of leadership; thoroughly document all analysis assumptions, procedures and results in a manner appropriate for both senior executive and management review.
- Review models and artifacts developed by business SMEs, development and testing teams to support changes to the technology, processes and people impacts to the solutions
- Build and support strong business relationships by documenting business issues, determining project needs, and supporting training as needed.
- Regularly perform peer reviews and coach less experienced analysts.
