Job Summary

We are seeking a self-driven, goal-oriented individual who can work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting the design and approval process with franchise partners and senior leadership, as well as a solid understanding of applicable building and fire, life, safety (FLS) codes.

Weekly travel is required (typically 3–4 days per week).

What You’ll Do

Conduct regular property inspections and recommend necessary repairs, upgrades, and capital improvements.
Diagnose root-cause failures and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
Evaluate building mechanical systems and provide guidance on safety, efficiency, and performance.
Create project scopes for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building control systems.
Oversee installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
Prepare bid packages and review proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
Collaborate with construction directors, asset managers, franchise partners, and hotel leadership to align project goals.
Provide support and leadership to hotel facilities teams.
Respond to emergency repair needs and coordinate timely resolution.
Review and recommend approval for change orders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field (equivalent experience considered).
5+ years of experience in facilities engineering, construction, or maintenance leadership.
Understanding of building systems and hotel-industry terminology; multi-brand experience preferred.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
