For our Offshore Hazardous Energy team within our Offshore market unit, we are looking for a Senior High Voltage Commissioning Manager &Operations to strengthen and develop our High Voltage profile. The goal is to have a daily working in close cooperation with the Global Head of the Energies team, managing the HV operational team in a global environment and matrix organization, and besides this provide excellent support to our design engineers, project managers and site management leading to best in class customer satisfaction.
The Offshore Hazardous Energy team plays a key role in relation to ensure operational electrical safety on all our offshore construction sites and at the same time contribute with experience and knowledge in electrical design and logistic planning all the way from project acquisition to final handover to our customers. We master the details and at the same time we bridge tomorrow's technologies and methodologies.

What are my responsibilities
• In close cooperation with the global lead of the energies team, you will be responsible for setup and manage the global HV operational team that consist of both internal and external personnel in a matrix organization.
You will also be the specialist representative in the HV nomination board on behalf of the Energies team and do Project support on High Voltage operational implementation and safety.
Act as Lead Senior Authorized Person on designated projects, and as part of this participate in the on-call globally.
Your daily responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Project and Operational Support- Act as the Hazardous Energy teams overall responsible for operational HV activities
- Provide input on strategic development of the HV operational organization to management in close cooperation with the global head of the Energies
- Maintain and develop the global HV management system into new markets
- Lead and oversee the implementation of high-voltage safety measures and operational protocols on designated projects.
- Serve as the Lead Senior Authorized Person on assigned projects, managing high-voltage safety and operational decisions.
- Respond to global on-call requests as necessary, offering technical expertise and leadership across projects.
- Support to project and site management in planning of HV technicians.
Technical Oversight and Documentation- Review and verify configuration and testing documentation (HV) equipment, ensuring all technical specifications and compliance standards are met.
- Support site-specific checklists created by HV commissioning manager and protocols for HV work and testing procedures to align with safety and operational goals.
Contractor Supervision- Manage and oversee third-party HV contractors to ensure work quality, adherence to safety regulations, and compliance with project standards.
- Conduct evaluations to uphold high performance and safety standards among contractors.
Training and Development- Mentor and train HV Team on safety protocols, and operational best practices, fostering a high standard of technical expertise within the team.
- Design and lead training sessions, workshops, and site support to enhance technician skill levels and safety awareness.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration- Work closely with the electrical engineering and sales departments to provide technical guidance during project planning and implementation phases.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, safety documentation, and training materials for consistent standards across the organization.
What do I need to qualify for this job
• We are looking for candidates who have a B.Sc.EE (power systems) or similar qualifications combined with +3 years of relevant technical experience from the wind turbine business or from the offshore, grid operator, power plant, consultancy, or the manufacturing or construction industries or similar.
Experience with international projects and various cultures will be considered a great advantage.
You should also possess strong technical and management skills within the electro technical area and in parallel your perspective is broad- and open-minded.
Experience with management, preferable with experience from international organizations, documented education or training will be an advantage in this position.
You have documented experience working as a
Lead Senior Authorized Person for minimum 2 years within wind industry.
It is essential that your mind-set is project oriented, still with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Your personality is characterized as positive, proactive, and self-driven enabling you to work with colleagues from multiple cultures in a project-oriented environment. Moreover, you possess communication skills in English, orally and in writing.
