Materials Management Supervisor to join
Eni Mexico. You will be responsible for enforcing proper physical and accounting material management processes to ensure material availability in terms of quantity, quality, and timing, while also ensuring correct cost allocation. You will manage all material-related issues, including receipt, storage, and quarantine, ensuring safe and efficient material storage and effective inbound and outbound operations according to company procedures. Additionally, you will ensure the accuracy of stock level reports.
Main responsibilities:
- Support the Materials Coordinator in accomplishing tasks relevant to Material Management.
- Coordinate the materials management workflow in the Company's storage location (Dos Bocas), ensuring proper tracking and preservation of all equipment and materials.
- Arrange for the delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment to the supply base, performing necessary administrative functions.
- Ensure all coded and direct use materials transfer from/to locations or contractors are correctly documented.
- Manage all inventory control functions, including cycle counts of coded items, inventory procedures, and training.
- Interface regularly with user departments and site personnel to facilitate the delivery of requested materials.
- Ensure all Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) is well documented by suppliers in compliance with Company HSE procedures and local regulations.
- Promote safety culture and ensure all HSE&Q requirements related to materials handling and storage are fully understood and met.
- Apply Company procedures for material handling and transportation strictly.
- Ensure all Materials Management activities are auditable in compliance with Company policies and procedures.
Skills and experience required:
- Completion of an undergraduate degree in a materials-related subject, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is preferred. Professional or institute based equivalent qualification is also acceptable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in receiving/storage supervision with basic knowledge of Logistic & Materials Management processes.
- Professional experience with SAP SYSTEM.
- Good interpersonal communication, people management, and leadership skills.
- Adaptability, initiative, and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to work under pressure in an environment that expects the highest levels of customer service, confidentiality, and ethical behaviour.
- Significant knowledge of HSE issues related to operations requirements for material handling, transportation, warehouse, and pipe yard.
- Proficient personal computer skills, including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics.
