A Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for overseeing construction projects, including designing, analyzing, and ensuring the safety and durability of offshore / Onshore estrutures. This professional need to be focus on designing and analyzing structures to ensure they are safe, stable, and capable of withstanding various forces, highlighting your experience with structural analysis software, project management, and successful project completions.
Key Responsibilities:
To Assist the lead / Principl engineer in the planning, co-ordination and performing all technical duties in a highly competent and efficient manner of the execution for structural scopes. Attend meetings when required
Ability to interpret and enhance your design vision, collaborate/communicate effectively, proactively problem-solve.
Act in the capacity as task lead engineer when assigned to do so within a project.
Execute technical duties in a competent and professional manner in accordance with company procedures
Ensure that the works is completed on schedule and within budget
Review and check the work from others
Carry out onshore / offshore survey and answer site queries
Carry out manual and computer structural analysis to prepare formal structural calculations / design reports
Liase with other disciplines on design , construction , fabrication and comissioning isssues
Deputise for the principal engineer - provision for holiday, sickness cover when required.
Technical Competences / Qualification
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
Strong knowledge of offshore oil and gas construction processes, materials, and engineering principles
8+ years of relevant structural engineering experience.
Proficient in structural design software as PDMS, autocad and navisworks
