Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Traffic Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traffic engineering and transportation planning, with a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and manage traffic engineering projects from inception to completion.
· Conduct traffic impact studies, traffic signal design, and traffic operations analysis.
· Develop and implement traffic management plans and strategies.
· Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project success.
· Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and staff.
· Prepare and review technical reports, plans, and specifications.
· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
· Participate in public meetings and presentations as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Traffic Engineer (TE) in the state of California preferred
- Proven experience in transportation planning or traffic engineering roles is preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in traffic engineering, and transportation planning and intelligent transportation systems (ITS).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong technical writing skills for the preparation of reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D,
- Strong knowledge of traffic engineering principles, practices, and methodologies.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
