The Data Engineer is tasked with designing and maintaining data pipelines that reliably move and transform data for analysis. The role is hands-on with the technical infrastructure that supports data warehousing and reporting.
This role involves daily development and monitoring of ETL processes, ensuring data integrity while collaborating with data analysts and scientists. Day-to-day tasks include coding, testing, and troubleshooting data workflows.

Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data integration processes on a daily basis.

Optimize database queries and storage solutions to ensure reliable data flows.

Collaborate in regular scrum meetings with analytics teams to verify data quality.

Maintain detailed documentation of data processes and monitor for performance issues.

Perform dimensional data modeling

Maintain CI/CD orchestration and pipelines
Requirements:
- 3–7 years of data engineering experience

Proficient in SQL, Python, dimensional modeling, and data pipeline design.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL tools.

Experience with Snowflake Snowpark, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and the Azure Cloud Ecosystem

Understanding of data security and governance best practices.
Preferences:

Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure) is highly desirable.

Prior exposure to healthcare or PBM environments is a plus.

Experience with code version control (Git)

Exposure to Alteryx and Tableau

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
