We're looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead positioning, go-to-market strategy (primarily B2B), and campaign execution as well as driving awareness, alignment, engagement, and adoption across internal and external audiences.

What you will own and improve:
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution
- Lead go-to-market (primarily B2B) planning for services, programs, and offerings, ensuring strategic alignment across departments.
- Develop integrated campaigns that generate awareness, educate audiences, and drive engagement.
- Work with program leads to develop and translate projects and insights into clear messaging frameworks and actionable marketing plans.
- Project outcomes address INFRA stated goals, including addressing the right issues, at the right times with a focus on audience engagement. Alignment on goals is clearly articulated within project plans.
Messaging, Positioning & Brand Presence
- Define and enhance program positioning and key messaging across channels and touchpoints (including email newsletters, social media,
websites, events, field team resources, etc.).
- Uphold brand standards to ensure cohesive, high-impact communication across platforms.
- Ensure storytelling and content strategies reflect and clearly communicates
our mission, values, and voice, while driving engagement and strengthening the visibility of our work.
Content, Communications & Editorial Planning
- Lead the development and execution of compelling editorial content that supports our strategic communications calendar and amplifies the goals of key programs and initiatives.
- Plan, write, and edit stories across channels-including newsletters, blog posts, publications, resources sheets, and social media-that communicate impact, elevate member voices, and align with organizational messaging.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging reinforces
organizational and program objectives.
- Manage content and design workflows and timelines across multiple formats and platforms (e.g., The Real Deal, Annual Report, conference materials,
etc.).
- Oversee and maintain core channels (e.g., website, blog, newsletters, and social media), using analytics to refine and evolve content and design strategies.
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead and mentor a small team or group of collaborators, including content creators and contractors.
- Align team resources with strategic priorities through effective delegation and situational leadership.
- Foster a high-performance, service-oriented culture rooted in INFRA's cooperative values. Set clear, measurable goals and hold the team accountable for achieving outcome-based results.
- Promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous development within the team and across INFRA.
- Support team members' growth by creating development opportunities and ensuring they have what they need to succeed.
What you already know:
- 7-10 years in professional-service marketing, brand communications, or campaign strategy, with demonstrated success in positioning offerings and driving adoption.
- Experience in mission-driven, member-based associations, or cooperative organizations-or deep familiarity with natural products, retail, or values-aligned industries.
- Bachelor's degree or advanced training in marketing, communications, business or related field required (or additional 5-6 years of experience).
- Team Leadership: People-first leader that meets people where they're at. Successful track record of managing teams, aligning resources, and developing people, including creative contributors, contractors, etc.
- Proven experience translating audience insights and product capabilities into clear, compelling messaging.
- Experience leading integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and event-based channels.
- Strong background in storytelling, content strategy, and crafting narratives that connect across audiences.
- Skilled at working cross-functionally with product, sales, and executive teams to align messaging and strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills-able to adjust tone, voice, and format for different audiences.
- Emotionally intelligent, adaptable, and collaborative-you balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- You're curious, self-directed, and energized by aligning work to broader organizational goals.
- Demonstrated strategic & sales acumen. Proven ability to lead growth strategies and effectively "sell" INFRA's programs and services.
