Job Summary:
Firenote is seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Data Engineer to join our mission of transforming hospice care. You will assist in data onboarding, transformation, and presentation. Key metrics for success will include your ability to rapidly onboard new data as well as curate and develop data models for business intelligence tools. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to apply data science skills in a meaningful healthcare context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop tooling for extracting, transforming, and loading data from external sources.
- Create, understand, and document warehouse data models.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards that clearly communicate data to users.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to meet data needs.
- Support automation of data processes such as data onboarding.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Experience with SQL strongly desired.
- Experience with a scripting language such as Python.
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for solving complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal.
