Job Type: Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Utilize structural analysis software and tools to create detailed structural designs and calculations
- Produce structural general arrangement drawings (steel and concrete), mechanical general arrangement drawings, and process flow diagrams
- Produce drawings as built during project close out
- Collaborate with external design experts
- Assist in the estimating process
- Ensure designs comply with all design and local codes
Education
- BS in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university (required)
- MS in Engineering Discipline (desired)
Experience
- 5+ years structural engineering and design in a heavy industrial setting (required), preferably mining (desired)
- Experience with permitting, construction methods, and materials (highly desired)
- Field experience with retrofit and construction support (highly desired)
- Experience with site grading and drainage design (highly desired)
- Surveying and drone piloting (desired)
- CAD and Autodesk (required)
- Structural analysis software (highly desired)
Qualifications
- Ability to perform all phases of structural engineering tasks: investigation, inspection, modeling, analysis, design of steel and concrete structures (required)
- Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as in a team (required)
Licensing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
