Job Description:
As an IT Procurement and Sourcing Consultant, you will lead and support sourcing initiatives by gathering requirements, developing comprehensive solicitations (e.g., IFBs, RFPs, RFQs), and drafting Statements of Work (SOW).The role will work closely with internal stakeholders, finance, and vendors to ensure alignment of sourcing strategies with organizational goals and compliance requirements. Candidate will develop solicitations that clearly define the background and objectives of the procurement, provide a clear scope of work, and utilizes appropriate terms and conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements gathering
- Develop and manage end-to-end solicitation processes including IFBs, RFPs, RFQs.
- Draft, review, and finalize solicitations and Statements of Work (SOW)
- Strategic thinking and problem solving.
Experience & Skills:
- Experience in sourcing, procurement, or contract management.
- Experience in developing and managing the end-to-end solicitation process including IFBs, RFPs, RFQs.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing solicitations and Statements of Work (SOW)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience in procurement processes and contractual terminology.
- Understanding of state and federal procurement policies.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $70.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
