What You'll Do
Build lakehouse pipelines in PySpark notebooks-
- Write reusable functions that ingest REST/SQL/CSV feed

Model Bronze-> Silver -> Gold tables in Delta Lake

Handle schema drift, CDC, and idempotent upserts
Own code-first ETL in Microsoft Fabric

Develop Dataflows Gen2 & Spark notebooks, not drag-and-drop SSIS

Package pipelines with Azure DevOps CICD & IaC (YAML/Bicep_
Harden security & governance

Mirror ERP role perms via RLS/CLS
-
Enforce naming/cost guard-rails; automate lineage & documentation
Enable analytics + AI
-
Expose Gold view to PowerBI and upcoming Copilot/ML wokloads
-
Optimize for cost/performance (partitions, Z-Order, cache)
Iterate like a startup

Ship small, gather feedback, refactor-two steps forward, one back

Participate in code reviews, lunch-and-learns, and design spikes

3+years building code-driven data pipelines (PySpark, Spark, or dbt-Python)

Solid SQL plus Python unit-testing habits

Clear Verbal+written explanation of medallion / lakehouse concepts
