What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain custom solutions for our clients across a range of technologies and toolkits, from a Power App to help with financial reporting, to data pipelines that integrate different SaaS products, through custom software development and business intelligence
- Participate in the rapid prototyping of solutions to validate concepts and meet client requirements.
- Engage in data analysis to support decision-making and insights.
- Learn and utilize various tools and platforms such as SQL, dbt, Power Apps, Azure Data Factory, Python and PowerBI.
- Apply prompt engineering techniques to interact effectively with Large Language Models (LLMs), leveraging them creatively to solve client problems.
- Collaborate with the team on projects that may fall outside the typical scope of work, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, timely solutions that meet project and client expectations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, problem-solve and think analytically. The Solutions landscape is changing rapidly. We care more about your ability to learn new technologies than your level of mastery with any given technology.
- Familiarity with databases (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Postgres) and tools (dbt, Azure Data Factory).
- Experience with both low code tools like Power Apps and a solid foundation in software development and data modeling, particularly in Python and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts to a non-technical audience.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently as well.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in or experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering is highly desirable.
