Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients across all market segments.
- Identify project opportunities and secure new truss orders through proactive business development.
- Understand and communicate technical truss design concepts and structural solutions to builders, architects, and engineers.
- Prepare and present detailed proposals and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with internal design and production teams to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Track market trends, construction project timelines, and competitor activities.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to grow your client base and stay ahead of market demands.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
Qualifications:- 3+ years of experience in truss
- Proficiency with truss design software (e.g., Alpine or MiTek). (Alpine preferable)
- Proven experience in truss sales, with established industry contacts.
- Understanding of structural systems and construction processes.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and architectural plans.
- Self-motivated, goal-driven, and highly organized.
- Ability to manage long sales cycles and large accounts.
- No formal license required-industry training or certifications are a plus.

Schedule:- Full-time, remote position with visits to client and project sites.
- Monday through Friday
Work Location:- Location based Romulus, MI - Travel is required for client meetings and site visits. (local to South East Michigan region)
