Duties include: We are seeking an graduate Civil Engineer to work as a junior project manager on a variety of infrastructure and community development projects including land development; green and sustainable infrastructure and municipal peer reviews, engineering and permitting.
As a member of a project team, this professional will play a key role in production efforts, including plan development, grading, utility and drainage design. The selected individual will work with experienced staff on projects from conceptual design, survey acquisition to project closeout. Interaction with clients, consultants and permitting authorities. Acting as a junior project manager to assist in coordinating project deliverables; monitoring project schedules and budgets; and coordinating/overseeing project teams is an integral part of the position. We seek someone who can demonstrate a track record of working both independently on small assignments and as a part of a large team on multidisciplinary projects.
Requirements: Candidates must possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar degree
- 1-4 years of relevant experience, in Massachusetts is a plus
- ability to obtain EIT registration withiin first year of employement required; Current EIT registration a plus
- Experience in AutoCad Civil 3D, HydroCadd and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with construction and/or land surveying is a plus
- Ability to present to clients, permitting authorities and public entities
