NYS Department of Financial Services (DFS) is seeking a
Systems Developer SeniorDay to Day task include: - Experience designing, developing, and maintaining data platform/data catalog and related (i.e., data integration) solutions.
- Drive the design and development of connectors into a data catalog platform and related technologies.
- Debug and resolve software defects, including those that improve the performance and reliability of application connectors.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal data stakeholders, liaise with vendors/solution providers as necessary.
- Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
- Write documentation to encourage adoption of above tools/technologies and support users in their use; support data stakeholders as needed.
- Develop a system of complex ETL operations using SQL Server, Python and/or similar technologies.
Required Qualifications: - 72 Months of Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data platform/data catalog and related (i.e., data integration) solutions
- 72 Months of Experience in driving the design and development of connectors into a data catalog platform and related technologies.
- 72 Months of Experience in debugging and resolving software defects, as well as improving the performance and reliability of application connectors.
- 72 Months of Experience in providing technical support and guidance to internal data stakeholders, liaise with vendors/solution providers
- 72 Months of Experience in independently analyzing, solving, and correcting issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end
- 72 Months of Experience in writing documentation to encourage adoption of data platform/data catalog and related (i.e., data integration) solutions and support users in their use; support data stakeholders as needed.
- 72 Months of Experience in developing a system of complex ETL operations using SQL Server, Python and/or similar technologies.
- Bachelor's Degree
Work hours and location: - Full time role with engagement length of 30 months
- Daily work hours: 8:30am to 5:00pm
