A leading industrial manufacturer is seeking a dynamic VP of Manufacturing to oversee its full-scope production facility in Houston. This is a senior leadership role that will drive operational performance, strategic growth, and team culture within a technically complex manufacturing environment. Previous P&L responsibilities and ownership is essential.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in custom fabrication, project delivery, and operations management across engineering-driven industries. You'll take ownership of end-to-end production - from design and procurement to QA/QC, scheduling, and fulfillment - while leading cross-functional teams and ensuring top-tier quality and safety.
?? Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations across engineering, production, logistics, and supply chain functions
- Oversee site financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and margin optimization
- Manage execution of both custom-engineered projects and standardized product lines
- Build a culture of accountability, team development, and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and industry regulations
- Serve as the primary liaison to international offices to align global production workflows
- Collaborate with executive leadership and internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and strategic alignment
?? What We're Looking For:
- 10-15+ years of progressive leadership in a manufacturing or engineering setting
- Strong experience managing P&L and leading multifunctional teams
- Background in technical product fabrication, project-based manufacturing, or industrial production
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred
