This role reports directly into the team leading the AI strategy, with executive support from the CEO.

What You’ll Do:
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and architecture from scratch
- Replace fragmented legacy workflows with efficient, automated systems
- Partner closely with our AI lead to make structured data usable for NLP, analytics, and predictive models
- Own ETL design, SQL tuning, and architecture decisions with support from exec leadership
- Create clean, documented, queryable views of operational data that enable fast decision-making
- Work with high-level, sometimes vague requirements — and turn them into actionable, value-driven deliverables
- Extract meaningful, data-driven insights from chaotic, real-world systems
You’re a Fit If:
- You’ve built or redesigned major parts of a reporting/data pipeline in a fast-moving team
- You have a proven track record of turning raw data into actionable insights
- You don’t need hand-holding — you bring structure to ambiguity
- You’re expert in SQL and cloud-native data workflows (bonus: Azure, dbt, SQL Server, maybe python)
- You think like an engineer and a system designer
- You want to be part of a high-trust, high-accountability team that delivers
Bonus Points For:
- Experience in construction, logistics, or operational reporting
- AI experience or curiosity
- Building data platforms that supported executive reporting or ML pipelines
- Working in hybrid AI/data environments (structured + unstructured data)
You won’t be handed a backlog — you’ll help define what we build.
