Energy Analyst (Energy Analyst III)
At Sain Engineering Associates, we help the U.S. Army reduce energy and water use, boost resiliency, and comply with energy policies. As an Energy Analyst III, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor, leading energy management initiatives across Army installations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead installation-level Energy & Water Management Programs
· Conduct energy audits & develop cost-saving projects
· Perform building re-commissioning and retro-commissioning activities
· Advise leadership on compliance with energy laws & regulations
· Manage & report energy data using Army systems
· Provide technical expertise in HVAC, renewable energy, controls, and lighting systems
· Support test exercises & recommend improvements for resiliency and security
· Navigate ESPC, UESC, DSM, and other energy financing vehicles
· Deliver actionable reports, briefings, and recommendations
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree (engineering preferred) + 9 years, OR
· Bachelor’s (other field) + 12 years, OR
· Associate’s degree + 15 years, OR
· No degree + 18 years in energy management

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
