We currently have an opening for a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Application Engineer to join our team in the following location:

JOBTITLE: Application Engineer (HVAC)
JOB SUMMARY: The primary role of the Application Engineer (HVAC) will be to provide technical support to the customer’s design and sourcing team, ensuring that our technology solutions meet their needs. The Application Engineer (HVAC) exhibits experience in a variety of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures. Coordinates customer requirements with the NPI team to ensure customer satisfaction. Assists customers with product acceptance, troubleshooting and product usage. Resolve technical issues in conjunction with the engineering team in a timely fashion. Represents the voice of the customer to the engineering, project management and manufacturing teams. Represents Computime to the customer and provides timely and relevant communication to customers on all technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their HVAC requirements and translate them into solutions.
- Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients.
- Coordinate with the customer design team and Computime engineering team.
- Ensure designs comply with customer and industry requirements.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical inputs, including alternative part assessment & fault analysis.
- Participates in the customer acceptance process and application testing.
- Document processes, customer interactions, and prepare weekly reports for management.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Electrical Engineer with a minimum 3 years of HVAC product design experience.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, communication protocols, installation, and design.
- Experience with PCB layout design, signal integrity analysis, and EMC/EMI compliance in the context of HVAC applications.
- Ability to handle DFM, DFA, PCB EQ, CTQ, DFMEA, PPAP, BOM and ECN.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Detail-oriented, motivated, and self-managing.
- Ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
- BS in Mechatronic, Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Pay: $82,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
