About the Role
We’re looking for a Data Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize SCADA systems that drive automation and efficiency across operations. What You’ll Do
- Design and deploy SCADA systems tailored to meet project requirements.
- Develop user-friendly interfaces using Ignition Perspective and Vision.
- Automate data collection, alarming, and reporting for real-time monitoring.
- Connect to various data sources and equipment to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to integrate solutions into larger control systems.
- Troubleshoot and optimize SCADA performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Document system designs, implementations, and troubleshooting procedures.
What You Bring
Required:
- Experience designing and developing SCADA, HMI, or MES systems (Ignition preferred).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages .
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance.
- Experience with network architecture for SCADA systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred (but not required!):
- Ignition Core and/or Gold Certification.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley and Fanuc systems .
- Familiarity with automation in manufacturing environments .
- Hands-on experience with welding, forming, cutting, or rolling technologies .
