Job Description:
We are hiring a Managed Services Data Engineer to enhance our Managed Services team. We deploy managed Firewalls, Switches, Access Points, and VoIP Phones including Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, and Polycom. In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, provision, install, and resolve any fall out issues from their recent activation through tickets, phone calls, and email. As a member of our team, you will receive tickets, contact customers through phone and email, and resolve their issues while delivering a top notch white-glove service.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor ticket queue and email boxes, self-assign new tickets, and manage your tickets through resolution
- Troubleshoot post-activation issues for new customers who recently activated service
- Work with non-technical and technical points-of-contact to resolve customer issues
- Support Data customers on our Meraki and Fortinet platform which includes Firewalls, Switches, IP Cameras, and Access Points
Requirements:
- 1+ years Meraki or Fortinet experience mandatory
- 1+ years general networking experience (PoE switches and Session Border Controller experience)
- Experience with VoIP/telephony platforms is beneficial (e.g., Cisco, Avaya, Broadworks).
- Basic understanding of firewall features such as VPN/IPSEC Tunnels, Client VPN, Port Forward rules, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
