Well Services Manager within
Groupement Sonatrach Eni in
Algeria. You will be responsible for monitoring the condition of the well throughout the production period, ensuring that the well, surface equipment and platform installations are maintained in good working order. You will oversee the tracking of well parameters and perform interventions within the completion using wireline techniques. Additionally, you will conduct technical studies and implement special programmes involving rigless activities to support operational efficiency and well integrity.
Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).

Main responsibilities:
- Maintain wells in optimal condition to achieve maximum production.
- Assign tasks appropriately between internal resources and competent service companies.
- Ensure the rational use of allocated resources.
- Optimise the use of allocated financial resources.
- Guarantee optimal scheduling in terms of quality, quantity and operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of activities and team performance.
- Monitor the wells.
- Ensure continuous control of well conditions.
- Verify the qualifications of service companies.
- Prepare service budgets and control associated costs.
- Ensure the quality of work performed.
- Plan activities related to operations planning and scheduling.
- Manage human resources, installations, contracts and budgets.
- Evaluate service companies.
- Coordinate activities and operations on wells; monitor and analyse production parameters; maintain surface installations, including the pipeline manifold; and prepare and carry out well maintenance, sampling, testing and trials.
- Control and maintain the operating condition of the well and provide necessary data to the production engineering team.
- Maintain communication systems and the road network, ensuring they are in good condition.
- Manage emergency situations and the remoteness of service companies.
- Ensure the availability of specific equipment and tools.
- Provide technical assistance to service companies.
- Ensure a safe and healthy operational environment by complying with GSA's HSE policy, identifying and addressing training needs in line with HSE IMS procedures, reporting anomalies and non-conformities, and proactively suggesting improvements to enhance health, safety and environmental performance.
Skills and experience required:
- Engineering degree in Petroleum Production.
- Additional training in Management, Maintenance and QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment).
- Extensive professional experience in the field.
- Mastery of HSE standards and procedures.
- Fluency in English.
- Proficiency in computer tools.
- Strong management skills in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent analytical, synthesis and proactive abilities.
- Capacity for initiative and anticipation.
