Position SummaryWe are seeking a
Structural Engineer to join our team in Claremore, OK. This role focuses on the
design and engineering of steel structures for
electrical transmission and traffic intersection markets, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely deliverables. You will work closely with design teams, review drawings, and provide technical guidance while maintaining compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and design structural components for electrical power line and traffic intersection steel structures.
- Perform engineering calculations and structural analysis to support design integrity.
- Provide accurate inputs to the design team for fabrication drawings.
- Review structural drawings for compliance with engineering and project requirements.
- Interpret contract documents, drawings, and customer specifications for structure requirements.
- Ensure deliverables meet company and customer standards.
- Provide technical guidance for design reviews, investigation reports, and development of corporate standards.
- Participate in internal and external design reviews.
- Ensure completion of engineering deliverables according to the project schedule.
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred.
- 5+ years of industry experience in structural engineering and design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
- PLS-POLE experience preferred.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills.
- Solid IT skills, able to work extensively on computers and office equipment.
