Job Purpose
Our client, an international oilfield services company is looking for Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant / Reporting Analyst oversees the full accounting cycle, month-end closing, reconciliations, and management reporting. The role requires strong SAP/ERP skills, solid knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS), and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closings, prepare journal vouchers, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts; prepare P&L, balance sheet, and management reports.
- Perform bank and treasury reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and support liquidity management.
- Compile financial reports and KPIs, support budgeting, forecasting, and audit requirements.
- Utilize SAP/ERP systems to process transactions and enhance reporting accuracy through process improvements and automation.
- Assist with UAE Corporate Tax compliance and handle ad-hoc financial tasks.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in SAP/ERP and advanced Excel.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 7-9 years of accounting and reporting experience, ideally in a corporate or group environment within the UAE.
