Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse

License: Active RN License (North Dakota or Compact)
Certifications: BLS - AHA
Must-Have:
- 2+ years of experience in the operating room
- Experience with General, Neuro, and Orthopedic procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operating room environment
- Note if the clinician has ever worked for the organization, with a minimum 6-month gap before re-application
Description:
The role involves documenting and caring for patients in the operative setting.
Responsibilities include sterile prepping of surgical sites and catheter insertion.
Tasks also involve opening sterile supplies and positioning patients for surgical procedures.
Documentation must be completed within an electronic record.
Utilization and setup of operating room equipment as directed are required.
Experience with general surgical cases, GYN, Urology, laparoscopic, Neuro, and Ortho procedures is essential.
Experience with navigation systems for neuro cases is preferred.
Expect to work 8 or 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.
One weekend of call is required every 6 weeks, in addition to one day during the week.
Stay-late shifts are expected 1-2 times per week; this time is not considered call back but an extension of the core shift.
There may be rare occasions where floating to other departments is necessary.
This position supports multiple campuses with a total of 33 operating rooms.
Candidates must possess BLS certification.
