Pay Range: $83,954.26 to $125,931.26
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Kwik Trip’s Data Engineering team is growing! We’re looking for a Data Engineer II who thrives on solving complex data challenges and building scalable infrastructure. What You’ll Do

Build, test, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures

Develop real-time integrations and troubleshoot data infrastructure issues

Evaluate and implement emerging data technologies

Create and maintain technical documentation and data flow diagrams

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives

Analyze data for trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities

Support data transformation, metadata management, and workload orchestration
What You’ll Bring
-
2–4 years of experience as a Data Engineer
-
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational and big data databases

Proficiency in Python, Scala, or R
-
Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, SSIS, Talend)

Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, and stream processing technologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and in team settings

Excellent communication skills

Experience with natural language processing or statistical modeling

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and source control best practices
