The Canrig Energy Transition ET Field Operations Support Lead will oversee the execution of Energy Transition (ET) service delivery activities in the northern region, primarily North Dakota. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring successful ET job execution—working closely with sales, PLMs, field technicians, and customers. Responsibilities include job readiness, asset and hardware logistics, scheduling field personnel, managing rig-up/rig-down and rig-move activities, ensuring service quality, and serving as the primary customer interface for assigned projects.
- Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards are upheld in all operations.
- Coordinate all aspects of ET job execution in the region, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring service delivery.
- Work with Sales and Product Line Managers (PLMs) to scope new jobs, prepare proposals, and define hardware and resource requirements.
- Coordinate field technicians (both internal and external contractors) to ensure job coverage, readiness, and performance expectations.
- Verify that required hardware ET equipment are available and properly maintained for each deployment.
- Oversee rig-up, rig-down, and rig-move activities for ET equipment and ensure safe and timely execution.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for customers, providing onboarding support, answering technical or service questions, and maintaining weekly touchpoints.
- Conduct field sales activities, including visiting rigs and customer offices to promote Canrig Energy Transition products and services, generate new leads, and support customer trials or pilots.
- Monitor service quality and equipment performance, escalating troubleshooting or sustaining issues to appropriate internal teams.
- Track job status, document lessons learned, and contribute to continuous improvement of ET service processes.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Engineering, Logistics, HSE, etc.) to ensure smooth coordination and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate job documentation and provide updates to management and customers as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Associates Degree or Trade Certificate on, Engineering, electrical or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in oilfield services, operations coordination, or field support.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple field operations simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; comfortable interacting with field technicians and external customers.
- Working knowledge of ET systems, networking, or connected equipment preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50% to field sites and customer locations.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous knowledge of system operations preferred
- Customer service and/or sales experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Field and office environment; may include extended periods outdoors in varying weather.
- Must be able to lift and move moderate-weight ET or equipment items.
- Ability to travel frequently between field sites, customer locations, and regional offices.
