large-scale pharmaceutical construction project in Lebanon, IN. This is a long-term opportunity to work with a top-tier construction and engineering team delivering critical infrastructure for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for all phases of the project (conceptual to final).
- Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and engineering teams to track budgets, forecast costs, and manage change orders.
- Analyze vendor/subcontractor proposals and integrate into total project cost models.
- Support cost reporting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in cost data, while maintaining cost databases and historical benchmarks.
- Provide support during procurement and bid evaluation phases.
- Monitor project progress and advise on financial risks or deviations from budget.
Qualifications:- 5+ years of cost engineering or estimating experience in industrial or pharmaceutical construction.
- Proficient in cost management tools such as EcoSys, Sage, RSMeans, or Excel-based models.
- Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles, procurement, and scheduling integration.
- Previous experience supporting large-scale, capital-intensive construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field preferred.
Preferred Experience:- Experience on FDA-regulated or GMP-compliant projects.
- Familiarity with EPC/EPCM project structures.
- Background in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences facility construction.
- Experience with industrial piping/take-offs
