Position Summary The
Director of Facilities and Security is a leadership position responsible for overseeing comprehensive facilities management and security operations across all Asante locations. This role combines strategic real estate planning, facilities oversight, and security management to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant healthcare environments. The Director provides leadership for facilities and security staff, manages large-scale projects, and ensures all properties meet regulatory requirements while supporting Asante's mission to be your trusted health partner for life.
Position Qualifications Experience - 7 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare facilities management, real estate, or security operations, required
- Significant experience in managing complex facilities portfolios, large construction projects ($25,000,000 or more), and security programs, required
- Experience in healthcare regulatory compliance and working with architects, contractors, and security consultants, required
Education - Bachelor's Degree in in facilities management, engineering, business, architecture, or related field, required
- Master's Degree in related field, preferred
Preferred Certification/Licensure - LEED AP (Accredited Professional) certification, preferred
- Healthcare security certifications (CHPA, IAHSS), preferred
- PE License (Professional Engineer), preferred
