What You Will Be Doing
- Learn the full spectrum of a project from defining, designing, developing, demonstrating and delivering a PLC/HMI based control systems
- Learn how to write structured, well-documented, bug-free PLC code
- Learn how to design intuitive, easy-to-navigate, aesthetically pleasing HMI interfaces.
- By the end of year one you will be able to work on a variety of projects developing PLC code or HMI screens.
- High level language programming for a variety of applications. This includes .NET, Java, Python, C, C++, etc.
- Learn and identify various SCADA packages and SCADA terminology
- Learn and identify various industrial MES packages and MES terminology such as OEE, Recipe management, downtime tracking, track and trace.
- Work in project teams ranging from 2-10 people with various technology backgrounds and tenure’s.
What You Need for this Position
- BS in electrical, mechanical, chemical or related engineering field. Pretty much any engineering field will do.
- The ability to learn quickly!
- Ability to travel up to 20%
