Position Summary
This position performs technical, and management duties related to road and bridge projects, including design, inspection, project management, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Working directly with the Managing Director to facilitate all aspects of construction projects from planning to delivery to closeout.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
included but not limited to the following:
·Report directly Managing Director
·Create full bid packages for local and MDOT let projects
·Coordination of environmental concerns of projects
·Surveying with total station, gnss receivers and levels
·Coordinate all aspects of construction projects including project layout, inspection, documentation, reporting, testing, file keeping and payments.
·Assist in development of multiyear asset management plans.
·Data collection and analysis including traffic counts, culverts, pavement markings etc.
·Attend public meetings, trainings and conferences as required.
·Any other duties that may arise
·Management of One or Two engineering technicians
Required Education and/or Experience:
·B.S. degree in Civil engineering
·Current Professional Engineer License
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
·Valid driver’s license
·Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and Map 3D
·Knowledge of Roadsoft, MERL, Microsoft office
·Preferred - Certifications (or ability to acquire certifications) for Storm Water Operator, Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control, Density Technician, ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician, Michigan Concrete Testing Technician, Michigan Certified Aggregate Technician Level 2

Expected Salary Range - $100,000 to $125,000
