Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Optical Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing optical systems and components. This role requires a strong understanding of optical engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Design and develop optical systems, including lenses, sensors, and imaging systems.
- Conduct experiments and simulations to validate optical designs and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optical components into electronic systems.
- Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks for designing optical layouts.
- Implement vision inspection systems to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to optical performance in prototypes and production units.
- Engage in quantum engineering projects that require advanced knowledge of optics.
- Utilize ARM microcontrollers, logic controllers, and FPGA technology in system design.
- Perform testing using tools such as ohmmeters to assess electrical properties of optical devices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SystemVerilog, and PCB design is highly desirable.
- Experience with vision inspection systems is an advantage.
- Familiarity with quantum engineering concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex optical systems.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation within the field of optics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
