Mexico City. You will be responsible for executing activities related to revenue analysis and reporting, as well as economic evaluations, while supporting the Planning, Control and Reporting department.

Main responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyse and submit financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual actuals; Business Plan; 4-year Strategic Plan; and Annual Forecasts) to headquarters in a timely and appropriate manner, in accordance with IFRS and US accounting principles.
- Monitor variances between budgets and actuals, ensuring consistency of accounting data with budgeted activities, and provide analysis to management for timely corrective actions.
- Carry out economic evaluations in line with procedures to support decision-making.
- Calculate and analyse equity production and revenues, variances and sensitivities.
- Report to local authorities as required under production sharing agreement obligations.
- Support the reporting of non-profit expenses to headquarters in compliance with relevant procedures.
- Control and monitor job orders and contracts.
- Perform all relevant SOX controls.
- Support audits (SOX, partners, internal audit) with appropriate documentation and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant procedures, laws and regulations.
- Undertake any ad hoc duties required by management.
Skills and experience required:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.
- Two years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Knowledge of accounting and financial management regulations and systems.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Related work experience is not required but will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP software is not required but will be considered an advantage.
