Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Technology Engineer to join our team at the Gulf Coast Lithium Refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas. This position will report to the Process Technology Manager and will play a vital role in implementing process improvements to drive operational excellence (OpEx). Initial focus will be on supporting the implementation of the overall commissioning, startup, and customer qualification plan for the refinery. What You'll Do-
Key member of the team to deliver development and execution of the overall commissioning and startup plan for the Gulf Coast Lithium Refinery

Identify potential process risks (Process hazard analysis) and propose mitigation strategies

Propose and implement process improvement to drive Opex

Team player comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement Opex opportunities throughout the refining process
What You'll Bring-
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related field, or equivalent experience

3+ years industry experience: chemical manufacturing equipment, and process improvement; statistical process control methods

Familiarity with ISO9001 and/or Lean Six Sigma. Relevant qualifications are a plus

Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
