Job Description:
Lead the operational activities established in the project related to the professional role, ensuring the comprehensive delivery of the quality contracted by the client, supporting the operational team in monitoring and controlling the necessary parameters to ensure maximum plant availability, complying with current safety, environmental, health, and social responsibility policies of both Veolia and the client.
Requirements
: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
- Experience in equipment operation
- Experience and knowledge in report writing
- Experience and knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, including physical, chemical, and biological treatments
- Experience and knowledge of unit operations
- Experience and knowledge in operational control and monitoring of water and wastewater quality parameters, such as pH, turbidity, TSS, BOD/COD, among others;
- Experience and knowledge in sampling and basic operational analysis;
- Experience and knowledge in the preparation of chemical solutions and reagents in general;
- Experience and knowledge in safety procedures and handling of chemical products;
- Ability to identify and resolve operational problems during the treatment process;
- Knowledge of reading technical documents such as schematics, diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
