Job Summary
Data Storage & Management Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a scalable and secure data platform that supports efficient data ingestion, storage, and query execution across cloud and hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain a scalable, secure data storage platform for data ingestion and query execution.
- Support cloud-native and hybrid storage environments (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, etc.).
- Enable shared access and visibility to monitor data usage, cost, and performance.
- Ensure data ownership, security, and full portability, with all data transferable upon contract termination.
- Develop and maintain APIs and connectors for real-time data access by visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Monitor system performance, availability, and cost optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in data storage and data platform management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
- Experience designing secure, scalable data architectures.
- Knowledge of data access APIs, connectors, and integrations.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and ownership principles.
