Position Summary:A successful industrial development company, operational since 2019 and renowned for constructing high-quality industrial buildings out of our own highest quality materials, is seeking a Lead Project Engineer (Data Center) to join our team.
As the Lead Project Engineer (Data Center), you will be responsible for the management of the overall technical strategy for Data Center implementation, the coordination between designers and contractors regarding the design and application of technical solutions, and the oversight and review of implementation of the proposed technical solutions.
Key responsibilities:
1. Overall Project Implementation Strategy:
- Definition of key technical solutions for project implementation;
- Collaboration with the CDO and Development Manager on all key technical matters.
2. Coordination and management of technical solutions:
- Collaboration with the CDO and Development Manager on preparing Technical Specifications and selecting designers, contractors, and suppliers for work packages and equipment supply;
- Ongoing collaboration with designers and contractors to coordinate technical solutions;
- Participating in tenders for the procurement of work packages and major equipment;
- Acceptance of services completed by contractors for work packages.
3. Analysis and Research:
- Performing analysis of proposed technical solutions;
- Analysis of current trends in technical solutions used in the implementation of data centers.
Qualifications:
- Higher technical education(Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering);
- Deep expertise in one of the following areas: Mechanical: cooling systems (chilled water, CDUs, liquid cooling); Electrical: medium/low voltage systems (MV/LV), UPS/generators, distribution equipment (PDUs); Modular data center construction;
- At least 5 years of experience in the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects(preferably experience in the design or construction of data centers), both on the client / construction management side and in the roles of general contractor / MEP contractor or lead design consultant.
Skills:
English — level B2 or higher (reading and preparation of technical documentation);
- Proficiency with project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) and technical software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
- Knowledge of ETAP/SKM or hydraulic/thermal modeling systems is an advantage);
- Experience in coordinating technical solutions with multidisciplinary engineering teams, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers.
