Key Skills & Qualifications We’re Looking For:
Data Engineering & ETL: Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, including reverse-engineering legacy systems and implementing scalable solutions on modern platforms.
Collaboration: Ability to work with stakeholders across teams to translate business and technical requirements into robust data solutions.
Tools & Techniques: Proficiency with ETL and data engineering tools (e.g., StreamSets, Palantir Foundry, Pentaho, Informatica, Talend), SQL, and programming languages such as Python or Java. Experience with AWS data services is a plus.
Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex data problems, handle schema drift, and ensure high-quality, reliable solutions.
Leadership & Mentorship: Experience mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and promoting best practices (preferred for senior-level candidates).
Federal Experience: Prior work with U.S. Federal organizations, FAA projects, or eligibility for federal security clearance is preferred but not required.
