YER - HR Solutions is proud to partner with a groundbreaking leader in the plastics recycling industry, focused on turning today’s waste into tomorrow’s energy. We're seeking a hands-on Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join a next-generation manufacturing facility in Atlanta, GA.
This is a full-time, direct hire role — perfect for an engineer who wants to make a long-term impact in a growing industry, working on advanced, sustainable technologies that redefine what’s possible in recycling and process manufacturing.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and support instrumentation and control systems for innovative industrial processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, and process) to refine automation and process control strategies
- Develop and interpret P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams)
- Design control panels using AutoCAD
- Calibrate and integrate pressure, flow, and temperature instruments
- Work with high-energy systems (600–1000V power, 400°F heaters)
- Ensure compliance with NEC, ISO, and SIL safety standards
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in an industrial environment working with SCADA systems programming
- Previous roles may include Maintenance Engineer, Process Improvement Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, or experience with a System Integrator
- Background in chemical processing, single-process manufacturing, or other continuous process industries
- Hands-on experience with tools and platforms such as:
- Historian, Avavia, CC+ Platform, TIA Portal, FactoryTalk View, SCADA Ignition, and HMI systems
- Strong understanding of instrumentation and control principles
- Familiarity with NEC, ISO, and SIL frameworks
- Willingness to learn — PLC programming training will be provided

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
