Activities
1. To promote safety culture within the project and within her/his activities. Lead by exemplarity to have the team members and colleagues adhering
and contributing. To adopt & demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regardsto HSEQ rules and requirements. To participate and to promote Safety
and Quality culture program (FOCUS). To ensure safe workplaces.
2. To ensure that safe and ethic working practices are carried out within the activities that she/he is managing or interfacing with. To guarantee the
compliance on his/her activities.
3. To ensure that state of the art, TEEPA referential and local rules/laws are complied with and captured in all contractual requirements.
4. To manage the interfaces during project execution to remain within the agreed schedule for the completion of the statement of requirement
5. With the spirit of CLIENT'S values, to establish and manage her/his activities motivating her/his counterparts and to work diligently to
meet the targets of the Projects.
6. To organize and/or attend technical interface meetings as necessary.
7. To take the responsibility, under the Hull Buoy and Mooring Manager's, of part of the activities, as defined by his hierarchy
8. In charge of all activities related to the FPSO mooring system life extension
9. Ensure Engineering dossier developed for the Topside Mooring Handling equipment refurbishment by OEM and sub-contractor is optimized and
adequate for urgent implementation.
10. Lead the FPSO mooring chain link displacement activities (organization, preparation, procedures, planning, coordination between involved
departments and contractors).
11. Lead the CFT for the Spare Mooring Line procurement in close liaison with TEPA entities and supported by GPI FEED contract resources.
12. Lead the preparation and the execution of the Contract with Topside Mooring Handling Equipment refurbishment OEM supported by GPI FEED
contract resources
13. Lead the Spare Mooring Line Installation Contracts/Frame Agreement negotiation/CFTs.
14. Implement the FPSO mooring line failure detection as recommended by TotalEnergies OneTech.
15. Defined maintenance and inspection plan for further topside mooring equipment preservation and readiness.
16. Ensure roles and responsibilities between HBM FEED Team and TEPA entities (PBF, EPT, FO) are clear and formalized. Put in place and lead regular
interfaces and coordination meeting
17. Liaise with OneTech discipline specialists as necessary especially OT/TEC/SMA mooring specialist and naval architect
18. Liaise with Classification Society for mooring matters in coordination with other TEPA entities.
19. Timely reporting to the HBM Manager, assisting him, as required, in communication with Project Management, and highlighting progress and
encountered areas of concern.
20. Assist in follow-up, coordination and preparation of the FEED mooring related documentation (DCC).
21. Ensuring that Engineering / Qualification / Procurement activities are performed in line with Contracts requirements and Project Specifications and issue proper derogations, if required
22. Following up the mooring Engineering / Qualification / Procurement activities
23. Direct the FEED / Service contractors to effective resolution of all interface matter related to mooring engineering
24. Answering FEED and services contractors technical queries as necessary
25. Issuing reports and presentations as required, necessary
26. Participating in various technical reviews (Hazids, Hazops, Project Technical Reviews, Risk Assessments...) and ensuring implementation of
recommendations as necessary
27. Liaising actively with all concerned technical specialists involved in the technical development / management of said contracts. The service holder
shall also have to liaise actively with other Line Managers (HSE, QA and LC) and with specialists from Project Services (planner, budget, and cost control)
for the development / management of contracts.
28. Performing the close-out of Contract(s) with respect to TEP Angola and Project procedures.
29. Participating in reducing contractual risks associated with interfaces with others packages and highlighting potential risks occurring during the
execution of the contract
The service holder is in charge of all activities related to the FPSO mooring system life extension.
Qualifications/Experience required
• Qualification: Engineer or equivalent
• Languages: English mandatory - Portuguese would be a plus
• Professional Experience: 15 /20 years in Oil & Gas industry on Offshore Projects / Fields
• Experience within project: ± 10 years with sound engineering experience in mooring engineering
• Excellent communication skills, dynamism, high motivation, "out-of-the-box" thinking, ability to convince, transverse coordination,
organized, leadership and ability to put issues into perspective
