We are currently seeking a Project Field Engineer to join our growing Engineering Team at our U.S. operations, headquartered in Midland, TX. This a project engineer-level position with a strong emphasis on field work and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Duties
- Execute engineering plans and field procedures
- Read and interpret layouts, P&IDs, and technical specifications
- Complete customer-required documentation and reporting
- Design and support the development of process equipment
- Manage and support the execution of technical projects
- Estimate materials and associated project costs
Technical Data & Support
- Leverage AMGAS's technical database for design and field support
- Communicate updates and design changes as required
- Collaborate with sales and operations for technical support
- Assess and adapt to evolving client needs during projects
- Design and implement custom technical solutions to meet unique customer requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Process preferred)
- 4+ years field experience in the oil and gas sector
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Aspen HYSYS, Microsoft Office Suite, and Windows OS
- Valid driver's license and favorable driving record (within 30 days)
- Valid Passport - international travel may be required
- Current H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, and CPR certifications
