Summary
We are seeking an Equipment Engineer to join our dynamic team at NHanced Semiconductors, Inc. This role is pivotal in designing and optimizing equipment used in semiconductor fabrication processes. Based in the United States, you will contribute significantly to our mission of advancing semiconductor technology.
Responsibilities
· Establish the equipment engineering and maintenance-related business processes necessary to run and maintain the tools in production, including documentation according to quality standards.
· Ensure close interaction with equipment suppliers and address and resolve escalation of tool issues.
· Develop and train the maintenance technicians and new engineers through the creation of training materials and performing hands-on training.
· Review tool alarms (OCAPs), FDC signals, and blocked modules on a daily basis and create shift request plans for maintenance technicians or vendors to execute.
· Analyze trace data for tool health and quality issues and proactively address concerning signals.
· Set up equipment performance KPIs and monitor and adjust KPIs according to company goals.
· Perform advanced troubleshooting of semiconductor process tool concerns.
· Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction projects and ensure knowledge exchange on best-known methods and improvement levers with other engineers.
· Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related science/engineering discipline
· Experience with Tool schematics, including electrical, PIDs, and utilities diagrams
· Experience with data analysis and statistical process control
· 3-5+ years of experience preferred

· Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
· Can understand and communicate effectively with Management, Engineers, and Customers
· Flexible; willing to learn and grow in a startup environment
· Reliable attendance and work quality a must
Technical Skills:
· Ability to analyze and solve complex issues
· Familiarity with semiconductor processing and equipment concepts, practices and procedures
· Experience in working in micro/nano fabrication cleanrooms and/or nano material facilities
· Knowledge of laboratory and chemical safety procedures
· Ability to interpret and generate documents related to safety rules, operations, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Physical Requirements/Restrictions:
· Wear cleanroom attire, including protective eye gear for up to 8 hours per
· Sitting, bending, standing, walking, 8 hours per day
· Ability to lift and transport equipment/materials up to 35 lbs
Other Requirements:
·Due to facility requirements, must be a US citizen.
· Must be able to work flexible hours based on company needs
