Quick Quack Car Wash is looking for a self-motivated individual to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The Manufacturing support Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes for the production of industrial mechanical assemblies. This role ensures efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations by supporting fabrication, machining, assembly, and testing departments. The Manufacturing support Engineer will play a key role in driving continuous improvement, developing BOM structures, supporting tooling and fixture design, and ensuring smooth NPI (New Product Introduction) handoff from R&D to manufacturing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and optimize production processes for fabrication and assembly of industrial mechanical assemblies.
· Support BOM (Bill of Materials) structure development and maintenance.
· Lead and coordinate the NPI handoff process from R&D to manufacturing; ensure design intent is manufacturable.
· Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to improve product design and reduce production costs.
· Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
· Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, yield, and quality.
· Design, procure, and validate tooling, fixtures, and jigs required for production.
· Collaborate with Quality to resolve non-conformances and drive root cause / corrective actions.
· Support capacity planning, workflow optimization, and production cell layouts.
· Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
· Integrate and support the use of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for process control, data collection, and production reporting.
· Train operators and leads on new processes, MES functionality, procedures, and equipment.
· Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Strong understanding of fabrication (welding, machining, sheet metal), assembly, and test processes.
· Hands-on experience with BOM management and ERP/MRP systems.
· Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), including process control and production data analysis.
· Knowledge of tooling, fixture, and equipment design.
· Experience with NPI and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
· Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
· Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma tools.
· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
· Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
· Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
The person will be in constant motion and will have physical activities, such as lifting (0-50 lbs.), bending, reaching, and stooping.
Required Experience:
· Must have 3+ years of Manufacturing support engineering supporting shop floor personnel in a manufacturing environment (industrial, mechanical, or electromechanical assemblies preferred).
Required Education Level:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
