We are currently seeking an E1 Control Systems Engineer to join our team. If you are a recent graduate or individual with experience in Electrical Engineering and are seeking to join a well-established firm to embark on your next step in your professional life, we would love to speak with you.
Your Responsibilities:
- Project management of pre-designed system
- Perform point-to-point and functional power-up of control panels
- Assists in design and drafts arrangement of control panel layout and electrical schematics of control systems utilizing AutoCAD
Qualifications You Possess
- Project Management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to contribute to a team environment
- Analytical problem-solving skills with a strong understanding of electromechanical principals and products.
- Understanding of UL Standards for Industrial Control Panels is a plus.
- Uses AutoCAD, ERP system (Sage 100 – business system), and Microsoft Office products to perform engineering and project management tasks.
- Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.
- Directs and coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.
- Discusses project with Engineering Manager to review functions of machines and equipment.
- Confers with Production Coordinator, Layout Supervisor and Wiring Supervisor to resolve problems regarding building of controls systems.
- Interface with client to resolve production and design issues.
- Responsible to alert direct supervisor of any issues that may result in quality or customer satisfaction issues.
