Mechanical Engineer: Nagel Precision Inc., a Leading Specialty Machine Tool Manufacturer located in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Mechanical Engineer capable of translating oral descriptions into conceptual design and carried through to final design meeting customer requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conceptual design of machine assemblies, sub-assemblies, and detailing
- Submission of approval design
- Generate bill of materials
- Control of engineering records
- Knowledge of GD&T and metric system
- Knowledge of heat treatment and materials
Prerequisites of position:
- Proficient use of SolidWorks and AutoCAD systems
- Drafting skills
- Knowledge of machining process
- Ability to work with customers and suppliers, program managers, production managers and other engineering department personnel to ensure successful project completion
- Minimum of Associates of Science / Engineering degree with 2 years design experience, or equivalent work experience.
