Job Title: Driver
Location: Horseheads, NY, USA
Employment Type: Contract - 12 Months
Pay : $18 - $21/H
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Driver to join our client's team in the heavy industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to operating various vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, and assisting with equipment operations when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Operate various vehicles including tractor trailer units, body load units, and 550s with gooseneck trailers
- Hook up hoses, run air slide controls, and strap loads
- Transport pallets of chemicals between districts in hotshot deliveries
- Assist equipment operators as needed
Requirements
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing schedules and tasks
- Strong time management and self-regulation skills
- Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions, including air brakes and tanker endorsements
- Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Oil & gas industry experience
- Hazmat endorsement is a plus
