Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an entry-level engineer for our Boise office. As part of our design and process teams, you will work on water and wastewater projects, including drinking water/wastewater/reuse treatment facility upgrades and conveyance systems planning and design.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including sampling studies, condition assessments, process modeling, hydraulics, and design reports

Manage data for process modeling and design

Attend client and internal project management meetings

Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to select equipment

Support multiple projects from planning through construction

Participate in fieldwork and site visits (mostly in-state)
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering

Coursework background in water/wastewater treatment with strong interest in the water/wastewater industry

Strong communication skills, self-motivation, organization, and attention to detail

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

0-2 years of relevant experience within the water/wastewater industry
Preferred Qualifications:

EIT certification

Conducts self-quality reviews before submitting work for additional QA/QC
