Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Engineer to join our team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in engineering. The Entry Level Engineer will assist in various projects, applying engineering principles and techniques to support the development and implementation of innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers, engineers, and designers to produce a system or product design to fit the scope of work
- Review and comprehend customer generated specifications and requirements.
- Create/maintain 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings defining and documenting manufacturing information.
- Create bills of materials.
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations and to ensure designs meet required specifications and regulatory standards
- Create customer documentation such as user manuals, spare parts lists, maintenance manuals and drawings. Drawings include Mechanical assemblies, pneumatic diagrams, and hydraulic diagrams.
Skills
- Ability to use 3D CAD system – SolidWorks
- Ability to use 2D CAD system - AutoCAD
- Ability to research and specify key components that are fit for purpose.
- Understanding mechanical piping/valve engineering and design
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and coordination skills
- FEA software experience.
- Previous experience or exposure to ASME pressure vessel design (experience preferred)
- Ability to read and understand P & ID diagrams
- Effective spoken and written communication skills
- The ability to operate both independently and in a collaborative, team environment.
- Fluent in the use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite. Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
